Q4 2020 Performance of Top Hack and Slash iOS Apps in the UK

In the final quarter of 2020, the hack and slash genre on iOS in the United Kingdom saw various trends in user engagement and revenue among its top titles. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers insights into the performance of these games.

Honkai Impact 3rd - Part 2 from miHoYo Limited displayed a marked increase in revenue towards the end of the quarter, peaking at approximately $3.3K in late November. Downloads hit a high of roughly 1.5K in the week before Christmas, while weekly active users (WAUs) rose to a peak of around 5.7K in the same period.

Netmarble Corporation's MARVEL Future Fight showed a significant spike in revenue to about $10.9K in the third week of November. Downloads for the game saw an uptick in late October with over 1.1K, and WAUs increased to approximately 14.6K in late October, followed by a steady trend around 13K towards the year's end.

Ubisoft's Mighty Quest For Epic Loot RPG experienced a revenue high of $1.8K in late October, with downloads surging to 1.4K in the same period. WAUs showed a significant increase to nearly 1.8K in late October but then followed a downward trend, finishing the quarter at around 800.

Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter 5 had modest revenue figures, peaking at just over $1K at the start of the quarter. Downloads remained relatively steady, averaging around 200 per week, and WAUs were consistent, with a slight increase to around 500 in early October.

Lastly, Iron Blade: Medieval RPG, also by Gameloft, peaked in revenue at approximately $1.2K in mid-October. Downloads saw a high of 238 in late October, and WAUs experienced a slight increase to nearly 500 in mid-November but generally hovered around the 400 mark.
